Update 11 Oct 2004. Collected the car this morning. Here are the pix!

Update 10 Oct 2004. as the car has now been prepared for collection, I took the opportunity this morning to have a preview. Here are seven pix. I hope to collect the vehicle tomorrow, once the insurance detials have been settled!

Today, 21 Sep 2004, I set out mid morning to buy a video recorder. Having completed that task, and noticing the slow moving traffic on the road back to Ravenshead, I diverted to an alternative route, passing Priory Honda Mansfield. So I called in to check on delivery times. Needless to say, I ended up buying the black one with air con arriving in the next few days, with collection Fri 1 Oct. Talk about impulse buying, but at £17,500 this is rediculous! Oh, and its plate is JG04FUN, bought last November from the DVLA, to match the website address!
Update 23 Sep 2004. Hmm...have decided to change the choice of colour to the new grey version that has recently appeared. However, that means I now have to wait until 15 October to take delivery. It will be worth it though. There was a grey one, but without air-con, in the showroom, so I know how good it looks. See the pix of the grey version below.

The pictures below are examples of this top of the range pocket rocket, 0-62 mph in 6.6 sec, 215 bhp, max speed unlimited 240kph/146mph.
Particular thenks to Elliot and Jim!

These pix show the present showroom model, in grey, then a demo in black, followed by the crashed car. (note the worn discs!). Then there are two of the siver version, and finally my present car, the Rover 200Vi, 0-60 7.5sec.
