St Cuthbert's Way
in photographs
St Cuthbert's Way is a 62-mile trail from Melrose, in the Scottish Borders, to Holy Island, off the Northumberland Coast. I walked the way in the spring and early summer of 2006, taking photographs of the whole route. These have been placed on my yahoo photo pages, and can easily be looked at by using the slideshow function. The pictures also take in the delightful Eildon Hills, just to the south of Melrose. If you enjoy these pictures, please email me at john@jg4fun.com.

I have divided the route into 9 sections, as follows:

1 Melrose to Bowden.
2 Bowden to Dere Street.
3 Dere Street to Cessford.
4 Cessford to Town Yetholm.
5
Town Yetholm to Hethpool.
6 Hethpool to Wooler.
7 Wooler to East Horton.
8 East Horton to Beal Sands.
9 Beal Sands to Holy Island.
